J. Michael Eakin is an Associate Justice of the Supreme Court of the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania. He was elected to the State’s Supreme Court in 2001. In November 2011, Justice Eakin won judicial retention in a statewide election for his second 10-year term with 73.6% of the popular vote. Under Pennsylvania law, he will have to retire on December 31, 2018, the year-end following his 70th birthday.
