Michel Subor (French pronunciation: [miʃɛl sybɔʁ], born Michel Subotzki (2 February 1935), is a French actor who gained initial fame playing the lover of Brigitte Bardot's character in La Bride sur le Cou (1961). The year before he had completed a starring role in Jean-Luc Godard's second feature, Le Petit Soldat, but the French government banned it until 1963 because of its political content, touching on terrorism during the undeclared Algerian War.
