Michele Diane "Shelly" Miscavige (born January 18, 1961) is married to Church of Scientology leader David Miscavige. She has made no public appearances since August 2007. This has become the source of speculation concerning how Scientology treats its members. The Church of Scientology denies that she is missing and states that she is working for the church out of the public eye, though it has declined to reveal her present location.
