Michael David Kenneth "Mike" Read (born 1 March 1947) is an English radio disc jockey, writer, journalist and television presenter. Read has been a broadcaster for nearly 40 years, and is best known for his (former) association with BBC Radio 1 where he was one of the station's DJs, and as host of the 1980s Saturday morning children's show Saturday Superstore and the 80s music panel game Pop Quiz.
