Mind Bomb is the third studio album by The The, released by Some Bizzare/Epic on July 11, 1989 and recorded between October 1988 and May 1989.For this album, instead of recording with numerous session musicians as he did previously, Matt Johnson assembled a genuine band behind him to play the bulk of the instrumentation (additional flourishes were nevertheless provided by sessioneers, most notably keyboard player Wix).
