Mohammed Ben Aarafa, or Ben Arafa (1889 – 17 July 1976) was a distant relative of Sultan Mohammed V of Morocco (Arabic: محمد بن عرفة بن محمد); he was put in Mohammed V's place by the French after they exiled Mohammed V to Madagascar.Installed in August 1953, he abdicated in October 1955, while Mohammed V was still in exile. The reign of this "Mohammed VI" was not recognized in the Spanish protected part of Morocco.
