Dr. Haji Mohd Puad Zarkashi (born 7 July 1957) was the Member of Parliament for the Batu Pahat constituency in the state of Johor from 2008 to 2013.He was elected at the 2008 election for the seat previously held by UMNO's Junaidy Abdul Wahab. He had previously been a Senator.In April 2008, Puad called for the resignation of then Prime Minister Abdullah Ahmad Badawi after UMNO's performance in the 2008 election.
