Mohegan Sun, located in Uncasville, Connecticut, is one of the largest casinos in the United States, with 364,000 square feet (33,800 square meters) of gaming space. It is located on 240 acres (97 ha) along the banks of the Thames River. It is in the foothills of southeastern Connecticut, where 60 percent of the state's tourism is concentrated. It features the 12,000-seat capacity Mohegan Sun Arena, home of the Women's National Basketball Association's Connecticut Sun.
