Monserrato (Pauli or Paulli in Sardinian language) is a comune (municipality) in the province of Cagliari, southern Sardinia, Italy, located about 5 kilometres (3 mi) northeast of Cagliari.Monserrato borders the following municipalities: Cagliari, Quartu Sant'Elena, Quartucciu, Selargius, Sestu. Sights include the Gothic church of Sant'Ambrogio.
