The Motorola Droid Ultra is a high-end, 4G-LTE-capable smartphone developed and manufactured by Motorola Mobility available exclusively through Verizon Wireless. It was announced at a joint Motorola-Verizon Wireless press conference in New York City's Lincoln Center on June 23, 2013, and was scheduled for release on August 20, 2013. It is the successor to 2012's Droid Razr HD.
