Starring Nandamuri Balakrishna, Vijayashanti in the lead roles and music composed by K. V. Mahadevan. The film recorded as Industry Hit at box office. The film was a remake of Tamil film En Thangachi Padichava. It was remade in Hindi as Aaj Ka Arjun starring Amitabh Bachchan, in Kannada as Ravimama starring V. Ravichandran.
