Muktha was a serial telecasted in the Kannada language on ETV Kannada. It was directed by T.N. Seetharam, who also acted as a lawyer (as CSP) in the serial. The director aimed to inspire civic awareness and action with stories depicting the fight for justice even against all kinds of bureaucratic and political opposition. Muktha, a word with roots in Sanskrit, means "reprieve". The program ended on 12 September 2010.
