Pita-Putro, Prabhati Pokhir gaan, Hiya Diya Niya, Daag, Nayak are some his highly popular Assamese movies. He had created a new era in the late 90's in Assamese Film Industry. In 2000, his film Hiya Diya Niya created history as 'blockbuster hit' in Assamese cinema, which also helped to revive Assamese film industry.
