Murray is an unincorporated community in Kings County, California. It is located 9 miles (14 km) northeast of Avenal, at an elevation of 256 feet (78 m).A post office operated at Murray from 1920 to 1929 and from 1938 to 1944. The name honors David Murray, a leading figure in the local olive industry.
