NXT TakeOver is the name given to the periodic specials produced by WWE featuring their developmental brand NXT, which are streamed live on the WWE Network. All NXT TakeOver events have been scheduled to air for two hours. They are held several times a year. They were initially all held in Full Sail University until NXT TakeOver: Brooklyn was the first to break the trend.
