Najmuddin Khan was the Provincial General Secretary of PPP Khyber Pakhtoonkwa since 1998 up to 2012 and Federal Minister for States and Frontier Regions of Pakistan as of 31 March 2008. He is a member of the Pakistan Peoples Party in the National Assembly representing Upper Dir in North West Frontier Province, Pakistan.He was a member of the national Assembly from 1990-1993, a member of the provincial Assembly NWFP 1996-1999 and Chairman of the District Council, District Dir 1983-1987.
