Narcos is an American crime drama television series that debuted on August 28, 2015, on Netflix. The series was created by Chris Brancato, Carlo Bernard and Doug Miro, and directed by Brazilian filmmaker José Padilha. It is a serialized take on drug kingpin Pablo Escobar and the Medellín Cartel, as well as United States DEA agents. The first season consists of 10 episodes. The series was renewed for a second season on September 3, 2015.
