Nazia Hassan (April 1965 – 13 August 2000) was a Pakistani pop singer, lawyer and social activist. Through her successful singing career, Hassan became one of the subcontinent's singing legends and one of the most popular celebrities of South Asia. She had received numerous national and international awards, She was the first Pakistani to win Filmfare Award in the Best Female Playback Singer category and remains the youngest winner to date when she was 15.
