Nuoro (Italian pronunciation: [ˈnuːoro], Sardinian: Nùgoro [ˈnuɣoɾo]) is a city and comune (municipality) in central-eastern Sardinia, Italy, situated on the slopes of the Monte Ortobene. It is the capital of the province of Nuoro.
