Cosima recorded the song for her debut album Cosima and a double A-side to the Cold Chisel song "When the War Is Over".The song was a Latin-themed track and was fairly uptempo with its beats. It was not added to many radio playlists at the time, though featured prominently in the promotion for Cosima's debut album.The single was the first by an independent artist to debut at number one on the Australian ARIA Charts(Record holder).
