The PADC Hummingbird was the first indigenous Filipino-made helicopter.Basically, it was an improvement of the German MBB Bo 105 helicopter. The German company that manufactured the Bo.105 threatened to impose sanctions on the Philippines Aerospace Development Company (PADC). PADC destroyed all plans and whatever hardware had been manufactured.
