Palani Chettipatti (P.C.Patti) is a panchayat town in Theni district in the Indian state of Tamil Nadu. It is located on the road between Theni and Cumbum. The Mullai river flows via this town from Uthamapalayam and goes down the valley. It has been only a legend that the founder of the Town Palniappan chettiar and his family members constructed a small dam across the mullai river. However this story has no proof.
