Pan Jianwei is a Chinese physicist. In 1987 he entered University of Science and Technology of China and got his bachelor's degree and master's degree there. He received his PhD from Vienna University, Austria. He is mainly know for his work in the field of quantum entanglement. His team demonstrated five-photon entanglement in 2004. He was elected as a member of Chinese Academy of Sciences in 2011 and TWAS in 2012.
