Parlakhemundi (Odia: ପାରଳାଖେମୁଣ୍ଡି)(Telugu: పర్లాకిమిడి) is an ancient town and a municipality in Gajapathi district in the Indian state of Odisha. The languages spoken in this region are Oriya and Telugu. Pathapatnam town in the Srikakulam District of Andhra Pradesh is considered as twin town to Parlakhemundi due to its close proximity.
