The Party of the Democratic Revolution (Spanish: Partido de la Revolución Democrática, PRD) is a social democratic political party in Mexico that champions democracy. The PRD is one of the three major political groups in Mexico, the others are the Institutional Revolutionary Party (Spanish: Partido Revolucionario Institucional, PRI) and the National Action Party (Spanish: Partido Accion Nacional, PAN).
