Peidong Yang (b. 1971) is a Chinese-born American chemist and material scientist. He is currently a Professor at the University of California, Berkeley (since 1999), member of the American Academy of Arts and Sciences. He is a Professor of Chemistry and a Professor of Materials Science. His research group studies the synthesis of nanomaterials and their electronic and optical properties.
