"Penny & Me" is a song written and performed by American pop-rock band Hanson. It was the first single from the band's third commercial studio album, Underneath (2004). The name for the song is dedicated to a work colleague of the Hansons' father who became infatuated with a work colleague named Penny, and composed a song to express as much, which he performed at a work event in April 1987 whilst extremely inebriated.
