Peter M. Christian is the President of the Federated States of Micronesia elected 11 May 2015. Peter M. Christian was elected as a senator in 2007 representing Pohnpei at-large and re-elected in 2011. He served as the Chairman of the Committee on Transportation and Communication during his 2007 term in CongressSupreme Court Associate Justice Beauleen and Carl-Worswick administered the oath of office to Peter M. Christian and the vice president, and all the members of the 19th FSM Congress.
