Piku is a 2015 Indian comedy-drama film directed by Shoojit Sircar. Deepika Padukone portrays the titular protagonist, a Bengali architect living in New Delhi, and Amitabh Bachchan plays her hypochondriac father. Irrfan Khan, Moushumi Chatterjee and Jishu Sengupta portray supporting roles. Piku was released on 8 May 2015 to wide critical acclaim. Made on a budget of ₹420 million (US$6.3 million), Piku earned ₹1.41 billion (US$21 million) worldwide. Anupam Roy provides music to the film.
