Polewali is the capital of the Polewali Mandar Regency of West Sulawesi, Indonesia. It is best known as a site of the disappearance of the Adam Air Flight 574 occurred on January 1, 2007.It is a seaside town in the bank of Mandar gulf. Polewali is considered as the largest town in the province of West Sulawesi with number of population about 200,000 people.
