Praveena (born 11 April 1978, Changanacherry, Kerala, India) is an Indian film and soap actress who has starred in numerous Malayalam films and Tamil serials. She started her acting career in 1992. Her debut film was Gowri. Her debut as a heroine was Kaliyoonjal in 1997. She received the Kerala State Film Awards for her performances in the films Agnisakshi (1998) and Oru Pennum Randaanum (2008). She received the Kerala state award for dubbing also for Electra (2010) and Ivan Megharoopan (2012).
