Prince Asem "Abu Bakr" bin Nayef (Arabic: ‎ الأمير عاصم بن نايف) was born in Alexandria, Egypt on 27 April 1948. He is the son of Prince Naif bin Abdullah (a younger son of Abdullah I of Jordan) and Princess Mihrimah Sultana Osmanoğlu (granddaughter of Sultan Mohammad Rashad of Turkey). It is claimed he is the 42nd generation direct descendant of Muhammad.
