Alongside Foodstuffs, Progressive Enterprises forms part of the New Zealand supermarket duopoly.Progressive Enterprises Limited was previously owned by the Western Australian Supermarket Group FAL - Foodland Associated Limited which operated Action Supermarkets, Supa Valu Supermarkets and Dewsons Supermarkets.
