Ray Pride is an American film critic best known as the film editor of Chicago's free arts weekly Newcity. He is also an accomplished photographer and documentary filmmaker. He is a regular contributor to the Chicago-based arts website Sharkforum, and has also written for indieWIRE, Nerve, and Salon.com. He is also a contributing editor to Filmmaker and Canada's Cinema Scope.
