Reia was a general-purpose concurrent object-oriented programming language for the Erlang virtual machine. As of August 10, 2011, Reia has been declared defunct in favor of Elixir.Reia supported multiple programming paradigms including imperative, functional, declarative, object oriented, and concurrent. It used the actor model for concurrency in a manner that worked alongside its object system.
