Rene Marie Russo (born February 17, 1954) is an American actress, producer and former model.Russo began her career in the 1970s as a popular fashion model, appearing several times on the covers of magazines like Vogue and Cosmopolitan. In the late 80s, she transitioned to an acting career. She became known for starring in a series of popular, big budget thrillers and action movies throughout the 1990s.She made her big screen debut in the 1989 comedy film Major League and later co-starred in Mr.
