Ron Estes (born July 19, 1956) is the Kansas State Treasurer. He was sworn in January 10, 2011, as the 39th Treasurer of the state of Kansas.Ron Estes is the first statewide elected official from Wichita, Kansas in two decades. Prior to taking office as Kansas State Treasurer, he served two terms as Treasurer of Sedgwick County, Kansas, having been elected to that post in 2004, and subsequently reelected in 2008.
