Rothley (/ˈroʊθliː/ ROH-thlee) is a village and civil parish within the Borough of Charnwood in Leicestershire, England. Situated around 0.5 miles (0.8 km) west of the River Soar and 5 miles (8.0 km) north of the city of Leicester, it has a population of 3,612 inhabitants.Rothley centres on two greens, the Cross Green and the Town Green, both of which are reached by a road that leads from the crossroads.
