Safidon is a city and a municipal committee in Jind district in the Indian state of Haryana. Safidon is located at 29° 25' 0" North, 76° 40' 0" East. It has an average elevation of 221 m (725 feet). Safidon is the center of Panipat and Jind. The town is the headquarters of the tehsil of the same name. It is situated on the bank of the Hansi branch of the Western Yamuna canal, 35km northeast of Jind. The Safidon Sub-Division comprises Safidon tehsil and sub-tehsil Pillukhera.
