Santa Praxedes is a fifth-class municipality in the province of Cagayan, Philippines, named after St Praxedes. According to 2010 census, it has a population of 3,646 people.The poblacion of the municipality consists of two barangays, Centro-Uno and Centro-Dos, which are situated in the valley surrounded by the northern tip of the great Caraballo mountain range.
