Saratov State Technical University (Russian: Саратовский государственный технический университет), located in Saratov, is one of the leading technical universities in Russia.СГТУ currently enrolls 26,466 students. Of these students, 15,115 are full-time, 1554 are evening, and 9723 are part-time. In 2005, the first year only enrolled 1,478 students. Currently the university employs 1,175 teachers, including 200 professors and doctors, and 590 assistant professors and Ph.D. candidates.
