Scott Eugene DesJarlais (/ˈdeɪʒɑːrleɪ/; born February 21, 1964) is an American politician and physician currently serving as U.S. Representative for Tennessee's 4th congressional district after winning re-election on November 4, 2014. The district, the state's largest, stretches across a large and mostly rural swath of East and Middle Tennessee. He is a member of the Republican Party.
