Selly Oak is an industrial and residential area that was in Worcestershire until the creation of Greater Birmingham in 1911. It is now in the Metropolitan Borough of Birmingham, England. The area, which gives its name to both the local Council Ward and Parliamentary Constituency, includes the neighbourhoods of: Bournbrook, Selly Park, and Ten Acres. To the north of the Bourn Brook are the Wards of Edgbaston and Harborne, and to the south; Weoley, and Bournville.
