"She is the New Thing" is the fifth single by the UK garage rock band The Horrors, released in June 2007. The music video featured a mix of animation and live action. The single was available for only one week, although a free download was made available on Last.fm. The song was used in the soundtrack to Doghouse (film) starring Danny Dyer. B-side "Sister Leonella" featured backing vocals by members of The Horrors' families and friends.
