Signature Records was a New York City based record label active from 1942-1960. Noted Signature recording artists included Anita O'Day, Coleman Hawkins, Eddie Lawrence, Ray Anthony, Barbara McNair, Monica Lewis, Dickie Thompson, Jane Harvey, Kay Thompson, Alan Dale and the label's Musical Director, Ray Bloch. Bob Thiele was the President of the label until 1959 when it merged with Steve Allen's Hanover Records and they became co-owners.
