Skatval is a village and former municipality in Nord-Trøndelag county, Norway. It is located in the present-day municipality of Stjørdal. The inhabitants are called as Skatvalsbygg.The 0.56-square-kilometre (140-acre) village of Skatval has a population (2013) of 949.
