The SolidWorks is produced by the Dassault Systèmes— a subsidiary of Dassault Systèmes, S. A. based in Vélizy, France— since 1997.SolidWorks is currently used by over 2 million engineers and designers at more than 165,000 companies worldwide. In 2011–12, the fiscal revenue for SolidWorks was reported $483 million.
