SONY RIO is a new GEC that launched on 11 Augest 2015. It is aimed at women with stories about women and at family. It will compliment its sister channels Sony Entertainment Television (India).Sony RIO will be available on TV, through all major cable and DTH platforms such as: DD Free Dish, Dish TV, Airtel Digital TV, Videcon D2H, Reliance Big TV and Tata Sky.The show aired a 3-hour launch event on 7 September @8PM on Sony Pal, introducing ita cast, shows, production houses and teams.
