Spencer A. Overton (born August 11, 1968) is an American lawyer and law professor of George Washington University Law School. He is a leading election law scholar. Overton is currently serving as the interim President and CEO of the Joint Center for Political and Economic Studies and was elected to its Board of Governors in 2013. Professor Overton is on sabbatical from his position as a tenured Professor of Law at George Washington University.
