Professor Stanley Heptinstall MBE, BSc, PhD (born 21 August 1946) is Emeritus Professor of Thrombosis and Haemostasis at University of Nottingham and Mayor of the Borough of Broxtowe. He was until recently the Head of the Division of Cardiovascular Medicine in the School of Clinical Sciences at the University of Nottingham. Professor Heptinstall represents the Bramcote and Stapleford Division on Nottinghamshire County Council and Bramcote Ward on Broxtowe Borough Council.
